A facebook friend shared this yesterday and I'm glad I took time to check it out. I instantly liked it. May something sa song na 'to na makabagbag-damdamin. May namimiss yata ako nun kaya medyo matindi ang dating.

Nang pinakinggan at binasa ko ulit ang lyrics ngayon, napasecond guess ako. If I can personalize it, uhmmm..I would say that it can be a song about Him. I learned that other people in the internet thought so too. Siguro wala na 'kong namimiss nito kaya si God naisip ko sa song. Hehe.

The music I danced to on New Year's Eve

Meron akong kapitbahay na kinaaasaran dahil sobrang lakas magpatugtog, wala na kaming maintindihan sa pinapanood namin sa TV. 

Pero kagabi, sa halip na mainis, I found myself dancing to this song when they played it - Hey Daydreamer by Someday Dream. 

I also like its acoustic version in Youtube.

You know, I might have a thing for electronica, I find it "malamig sa tenga". 

There was also a local indie-electronic act that came out years ago, and they were called, drumroll please - "Daydream Cycle". What are the chances? 

What I'm Liking Now: God Only Knows

What I remember the most about the movie "Love Actually" was how the ending made me feel. It was a montage and there was this song, and I was teary eyed and I was just so in love at being in love.

I encountered this song a few days back and I knew I've heard it somewhere. I confirmed it after googling it a little. It was that song. 

I guess what I'm saying is, there is something about this song that makes you feel good. One of best love songs ever. 

It was by the Beach Boys but this one is a cover by Switchfoot.

I remember a scene wherein one character was talking about how a groupie can be so crazy about "some silly little piece of music, so much, it hurts". Last Sunday pumunta kami sa birthday ng anak ng isang teammate, and we had videoke. I was not able to sing kasi, they're so intimidating, ang gagaling nila, and I thought the songs they choose are soo cool. One of them keyed in "Plush" by Stone Temple Pilots (ngayon ko lang nalaman ang artist), and everyone was singing along. And I was like, "yan pala yun..." (tulo laway pa ata ako). You know the feeling na alam mong narinig mo na yun pero hanggang dun na lang ang alam mo, basta narinig mo na yun.

I'm having last song syndrome for a week now. I had to download it and get the lyrics so I can sing it over and over, para pagnagsawa, the craziness is over. I like it but not so much naman that it hurts.

Old school talaga ko. Ayos lang.
