Summer 2013: Timberland Getaway

I planned to be in Boracay last April with Josie and Gherry but we were not able to book good tickets, kaya si Gherry lang ang natuloy. She met a bartender there 2 years ago, married him last year, and last month she went back there for one of those visits. It was also supposed to be our bonding trip at dahil hindi natuloy, we thought we might as well maximize na lang our office summer outing at dun na lang magbond. It was beginning to rain this time already and I feel such a loser na hindi pa ako nakakaswimming pool man lang, so I decided not to pass this up. Sa tatlong taon na may nagaganap na ganito sa office, ngayon lang ako napa-overnight.

Timberland Sports and Nature Club in San Mateo Rizal did not disappoint - maganda, masarap ang food, exclusive for members, and I got to enjoy all that for free. Minsan talaga I would rather spend weekends at home, but this outing was worth going to. My introverted personality just couldn't help but kick in though. After that program over dinner that ended almost midnight, they went to this room for some fun over alcohol but I had to ask Gherry for our room key. All the activities during the day were enough fun for me, I had to sleep. Isa na rin siguro diyan yung iniiwasan kong pilitin uminom. May pagka-anti-social din talaga ako minsan, good job na ngang sumama ako in the first place. That's enough socializing for me, "I'm taking off". Hehe.

This is my only lakwatsa this summer but it was sulit indeed. I had fun.

Now What?

This year, it has been 10 years ago already since TeamFourOne graduated from college. It did not hit me until now as I write this. Ten years!

Chat and Well0ng came home for a vacation from their work abroad. They went on a summer trip to the Bicolandia and as always, I couldn't go with them because of this job. I made sure to show up though at those kitakits here in Manila when I could. 

So we're getting older, how are things? Maj is married to Mike and they are pregnant. Melo just got his first car. Well0ng got married, again, to a different girl (this is supposed to be a secret). Chat is going through what I call a life crisis. Melay is not dating anyone, Jojo is now making palipad hangin.  We're basically shufflling work and leisure, trying to spice things up sometimes, still waiting for magic to happen in our mundane lives.
